Latest FACE Publication to be launched at annual conference
"Towards a New Agenda for Lifelong Learning: Access, Diversity and Participation"
FACE has long argued the case for lifelong learning as part of achieving a truly learning society. At the heart of this has been particular concern with three key issues: access, diversity and participation. Given this, our 2009 annual conference provided an opportunity for delegates to develop and submit papers which explored what a new agenda for lifelong learning might look like and what needs to be done to bring this about. The collection of papers included in this publication draw on the practice, policy and research of lifelong learning not only to deepen our understanding but also to lay out what a new agenda for lifelong learning should consist of.
