FACE 2011 - "Lifelong Learning and Community Development"

The FACE 2011 Annual Conference will be hosted by University of Glasgow. Established in 1451, the University of Glasgow is one of the UK's oldest and most prestigious higher education institutions. Download a FACE 2011 Flyer

The conference will offer an international panel of keynote speakers including Professor Andy Furlong of University of Glasgow and Professor Wendy Purcell of University of Plymouth.

Conference themes will include:

Community-based access to further and higher education
Stakeholder contribution to lifelong learning within regions, cities and communities
The relationship between lifelong learning, regeneration and new growth areas, partnership and the development of social capital

FACE organises an annual conference which has developed into one of the major UK networking and dissemination events for practitioners in access, widening participation, lifelong learning, and continuing education.
